WHY 'SPECIAL PROJECTS'

"We term them Special Projects because we are always interested in working towards multimedia or publishing goals that involve photography, scanning, and archival storage.' (John Baker, Principal, Jay Fine Art.)

Mostly these are illustrative photography related, but a project can also encompass technical and/or specialist photography.

Extreme Archival Permanence

SPECIALIST PHOTO ARCHIVAL PROJECT

This photo-technical project is subject to a Non Disclosure Agreement, but please ask for more information.

The project involves capturing extremely high resolution images of printed ephemera and 3D objects, then archiving the end result via high resolution copying to analogue film and storing that film in an archivally permanent manner - for decades*.

(*Early research indicates that 10,000 year archival permanence is achievable if all of the conditions are set correctly.)

Managed by intelligen Limited (www.intelligen.co.uk) the project is in the R&D stage and we are partnering with specialist OEMs and VARs in the UK and oversees.
